My pick for the winner of Animated Short goes to:
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing
I went back and forth between this one and The Post. I believe that the cohesive nature of this cast is what swayed me. Their interactions felt genuine. I felt the story was told very well. And although it was a hard subject, they approached it with a frank reaction that (IMHO) is more realistic than what we see in most modern films.
