Shirley Donnelly: Fayette Countys Famous Old Saloons

I came across this article, by the late Rev Shirley Donnelly which covers Fayette County’s Famous Saloons. I had a good chuckle while reading and then I decided to see if I could find additional articles on the establishments in Fayette County. What I found was that Rev Donnelly loved to write about those particular kinds of establishments. I found a number of his articles and one on the Blue Goose while it was open. I have included what I found in this blog.
