IMDB Synopsis: T’Challa, the King of Wakanda, rises to the throne in the isolated, technologically advanced African nation, but his claim is challenged by a vengeful outsider who was a childhood victim of T’Challa’s father’s mistake.
In my rewatch I found myself marveling at the music, the colors, the cinematography. How beautifully family and community were represented! I also loved seeing so many strong female characters – smart, strong, fierce.
Side note: I recently downloaded the Disney+ app and thought I would watch this for maybe the seventh or eighth time. When I put the title in the search bar, it informs the viewer that this title will not be on their app until March 2020 due to contractual obligations. So…I hopped over the Netflix and watched it there. It is not difficult to rewatch this movie.
