I love Mahjong and Othello. When I see kids with the fidget spinners (although it seems you see/hear about them less now), I think of these two games. My brain pings in a million different directions at very high speeds. I wish I could harness it and make it useful. Sometimes it is, in spurts, never consistent. But these two games: Mahjong and Othello – my brain enjoys those. It wraps around them and flips the stones. It allows the things on the fringes to drop off and I focus on the center. Weird, right?
